Spring Season Info

WHILST THE CLUB MAKES EVERY EFFORT TO GET EVERY CHILD PLAYING - SPACES ARE LIMITED DUE TO CLUB RESOURCES - SO PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY! Divisions with coaches will allow a certain amount of players to register before a waitlist. If there is not enough/any coaches for a division, all players will start on a waitlist. Once we have a coach (s) we will take the players from the waitlist - first registered, first placed. Thank you! If you want more information on coaching, you can contact us at [email protected].

NEW ~ NEW ~ NEW!!! Families will be responsible for ordering their own uniforms this season. U6-U8 is Jersey only and U10-U15 is the uniform kit. If you already have this from last season, you do not need to order. Orders take 4 weeks (more if there are shipping delays) to arrive...so order as soon as your player makes a team. Visit swyscstore.itemorder.com/shop/home to order and check out other SWYSC gear :) If your player decide to cancel the season, the uniform cannot be refunded.

**Shin Guards are required for all players

U5/U6 Coed Program Summary (2019/2020)
U-6 soccer is a chance to introduce players and families to the game of soccer. This is a great chance for parents to get involved in coaching. Successful U-6 seasons are really built around the parents. The Club welcomes any parent to try their hand at helping to coach this level regardless of previous soccer or coaching experience. This is a fun, no pressure environment - with sessions generally lead by an experienced Head Coach.

Dear SWYSC,

Winter is almost here, which means it is almost time to register for soccer again!   Keep an eye on the first week of January for a letter outlining everything about the REC soccer season.  We will open registration towards the beginning of the new year!    Remember, REC soccer is first come first placed.  We are still looking for coaches at multiple age levels, so if you are willing to coach these awesome athletes, you can write us at [email protected] and [email protected] for more information.  Reminder to all returning head coaches to get your coaching credit for the season ahead (contact mailto:[email protected])!

A “New” Developmental season is being offered to certain age groups.  The developmental season is a stepping-stone level between REC and Select.  It gives players a taste of a higher level of soccer skill and competition.  This is a tryout-based season and there is no guarantee of placement.  It is a winter league with off-island travel for the games.  For more information, please visit swysc.com at click the “Developmental Season” tab.  This season is separate from REC soccer.  If you choose to try out and subsequently make the developmental team, you can also sign up for REC as they are separate seasons.

Uniforms

U10-U15 Jerseys/Kits are ordered when registration closes.  They are due to arrive before the first game.  However, there has been production and shipping disruptions causing a delay.

U5-U8 Jerseys will be ordered once registration closes. Due to the production and shipping delays we are unsure when the arrival time will be.

Practice/Game Cancellations Due to Weather

Soccer is played rain or shine! We only* cancel for thunder/lightening.
*There could be extenuating circumstances where we would have to cancel for other reasons

Game Schedules

Game schedules will be shared by your coaches (or registrar) once they are finalized by the clubs. This generally happens the second week of soccer practice.

Once the teams are set for U8  and the field needs have been cleared by Parks and Rec, we will get the schedules out to the teams.
