  • • We are still looking for interested Coaches/Volunteers for the season. Please contact [email protected] and/or visit swysc.com - Coaching Login and Support for more info.

“Some of you have helped coach before and may want to help again, while others might want to get involved for the first time. Right now, we are mostly trying to fill positions at the younger age groups, U-10, U-8, and U-6 coed. There may also be opportunities to assist with older teams. We know many of you have a soccer background already and we are committed to helping all new coaches, so they feel comfortable leading a practice and guiding a team in a game. The club will offer plenty of support in the way of an intro to coaching workshop (date TBD), mentor coaches and training resources.”

  • • Referees needed! Please share! There is a sign-on bonus and training will be reimbursed. Referees get paid $32.25 per match for a one-hour U10 match (center ref) and between $20 and $50 for other games, depending on role and age group of the game! Teenagers on up are encouraged to sign up! Contact [email protected] for more information and swysc.com - Referee Corner.

Covid Information

SWSYC are monitoring the COVID situation as it pertains to outdoor sports and gatherings. Currently the status is that training & games are allowed and that there is no mask requirement per the WA Secretary of Health Order 20-03, issued on 29th June 2021. The Club are also examining the SW School District’s policies as to outdoor sports – as we share a large constituency.

The Club will continue to follow the guidance/mandates as provided by our State Association and the Health Authorities.

We kindly ask that any player/coach/volunteer who tests positive for COVID-19, to inform the Club immediately – so that the Club can begin to seek mitigation advice without delay.
